History of the Heavy Duty 4X4

First introduced in November 1984, the Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series became the continuation of the original 40 Series Heavy Duty line as seen in the diagram.

While there have been Station Wagon and Light Duty variants of the Land Cruiser, we believe that the 70 Series stayed true to the original iconic design of ruggedness, reliably, and simplicity…

the way a true 4 wheel drive should be.

Still Built & Driven Today

Today, Toyota still makes the 70 series Land Cruiser which is used in most parts of the world. It is the longest running Land Cruiser Series of all time.

Since the 70 Series has remained virtually unchanged over the years, we source parts from around the world to build 70 Series Land Cruisers that are as true as possible to modern spec.
